- A competent professional with experience in Engineering, Fabrication, Wind Energy or any other sectors with expertise in:
- Vendor Development
- Import of Raw Materials
- Capital Equipments
- Indirect Purchase
- Procurement of Steel Plates, flanges & Tower Internals
- Supply Chain Management
- Inventory Management
- Knowledge of Taxes & duties related to imports
- Logistics
- Strong exposure in procurement and development of vendors thro’ out the Globe
- Depth in managing the entire gamut of supply chain activities entailing sourcing, holding techno-commercial negotiations, scheduling and monitoring dispatch of direct & indirect materials
- Expertise in carrying out consumption based material planning with accountability of managing import duties, taxation, stock material & sub-contracting purchase and commercial transactions
- Holding sound understanding of ERP (as a user on SAP R/3) and IS, ASME & DIN standards
- Should be a Team leader with strong communication, self-motivation and organizational skills

A competent professional with experience in Quality, Engineering, Fabrication in Wind Energy with expertise in :
- Knowledge of 7 Q.C. of SQC
- Knowledge of mistake proofing/ Poke Yoke System; 5 S System,
- KAIZEN Activity, Lead Auditor’s Training, ISO & GL Audit
- Usage of various measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore gauge, Height gauge as well sophisticated instruments like Perthometer, coating gauge, Hardness testers, profile projector etc.
- Precise measurement of Outside Diameter from Ǿ 1 mm to Ǿ 650 mm using outside micrometer and Inside Diameter from Ǿ 100 mm to Ǿ 650 using inside micrometer or bore gauge.
- Acquainted with programming languages like C, C++ and packages like M.S.Office, Visio, etc.
- Acquaintance with various standards.
- Incoming inspection as per QAP
- In –process monitoring during sub-assemblies
- Troubleshooting if required during assemblies
- Day to day activity record in SAP – R/1/2/3 – ERP Module
- Co-ordination with Third Party Inspectors for Inspection activity.
- Review and analysis of Inspection Reports made by Third Party inspectors
- Final inspection of Finished Product before dispatch
- NCR Analysis of Product & Process
- Calibration of Instruments as per Quality Systems requirements.
- Work Distribution to colleagues as per requirements of Projects
- Vendor Development and inspection at local level
QUALIFICATION :
B.E.(MECH./PRODUCTION) OR EQUIVALENT WITH NDT (Level II minimum)
EXPERIENCE :
7-12 YEARS in Wind Energy Industry / Steel / Forging Industry in Quality Assurance / Quality Control and presently as at least No.2 in the Dept.
