Mobile App Developer ( IOS / ANDROID)

We design and produce on-demand products such as photobooks, stationery, premium packaging, and the Kodak Collections premium photobook range.

The Mobile App Developer is responsible for development of highly professional and interactive mobile applications. You will be part of a multi-functional team to create online products and services that help customers create and share personalized products using mobile / tablets devices.

We are looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer to lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of Android and iPhone apps. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support.

Key Skills and Experience :

• Design, development, deployment and maintenance of Android / iPhone apps.
• Setting up and owning estimate and deliver on development tasks with high level of accuracy
• Improve the user experience
• Convert Mockups provided by Designers
• Interfacing with the back-end team for service integration and QA
• Identify and communicate best practices for mobile app engineering

Qualifications:

• B.E / Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Total 5 to 6 years experience of software development :
  • 2/3 years experience in web development for ecommerce sites
  • 2/3+ years hands on development experience IOS / android platforms
• For iOS: iOS SDK and XCode, iOS UX guidelines/best practice
• For Android: Java, Android SDK for multiple OS versions
• Experience with mobile development issues related to performance optimization, caching, security, and native hardware components (camera, gps, etc.)
• Experience with JSON, SOAP, Rest, XML and XHTML
• Experience with web front-end development frameworks such as HTML5 and Javascript
